2013 Turbo fans loud

Just got done replacing radiator and fluids, alternator etc (lol u know usually German car repairs), and now the fans blow hard and loud at even a normal idle, I remember cooling fans being loud on the car but they are running excessively now seemingly. I have no errors or check engine lights, so not sure what to do to keep misses happy but she hates the fan noise. Car is running perfectly at 200f, not sure if I need to replace a sensor or what but if anyone has any experience with this let me know. 2013 Porsche cayenne TT

If it is dead, you're partly to blame as you have only contributed 26 posts in 4+ years.

Post up a video and we will try to help. However possibly culprits:

Fan not installed correctly. Check to see balance of the fan at idle.
Air in cooling system.
Air conditioner on
Super hot outside.

 

I’ve always thought the fans on my 14 GTS were excessively loud too - from when I bought it until now. Confirmed it is normal operation multiple times at multiple dealers and indy mechanic. Is it dramatically different than before your repairs?

 

Excessively loud can be normal but it's not normal for it to be running like that 100% of the time. Only in certain instances and those instances I do not know. I do know that our CTT is loud at certain times, when it's super hot outside and my wife is running the AC is one of the times I've said, "Woah that fan is loud". That was a few weeks ago and it's not been that loud since. Granted it hasn't been as hot either. Hope this helps.

 

OP. How did you refill the cooling system? Sounds like an airlock to me and you did not vacuum fill. Your engine is over heating and the fans are running flat out trying to cool it.
