Hello Rennlist friends,

My wife's 2016 Cayenne Base VR6 has been sitting about a month, she bought another car and has been driving that. I pulled it out to blow the cobwebs out of it yesterday and got these two codes on an Autel MaxiCheck:

01D904 - Communication with Parking Brake Control Unit Disabled
052C04 - Communication with All-Wheel Drive Control Unit Disabled

I ran it for a few hours to ensure the battery is charged and don't see any voltage issues there, when codes are cleared they come back immediately.
There are some internet posts about 052C04 but very few and none seem to be related to sitting, 01D904 I can't find a single post about.

I'm concerned a mouse may have chewed something but before I start taking things apart I figured I would ask you fine folks and see if there is any common check or repair I'm unaware of.

How old is the battery and have you had it load tested. I would start there before chasing your tail.

I replaced it last year, it did sit for a bit but should be all charged up now. I'll load test it, but no issues expected with the batteries now. May have been low when I started it, but after running for hours and starting perfect fine I wouldn't expect these codes to be coming right back
