First time posting here. I owned a VW Touraeg for 15 years and recently picked up a 2013 Cayenne S Hybrid, 117K miles. Check engine light came on, scanner says P300, P301, P302, and P303 random and cylinder 1,2,3 misfires. I brought it to my mechanic who did great work on the Touraeg over many years. He kept it a week and diagnosed a leaking intercooler. He replaced the intercooler, all six spark plugs, 3 fuel injectors, 2 direct ignition coils, and 6 intake manifold gaskets. Check engine light came back on after two days, same codes. I took it back and he got a replacement intercooler, saying it was leaking. I asked him to check the solenoids because I read online it could affect a whole bank. He said he took a look, but didn’t need to change them. Check engine light back on today. It happens either when idling or driving slow speed around the neigjborhood. Startup seems a little rough. There’s a periodic whooshing sound when driving but I think it’s the engine and battery alternating power. Not sure. Not sure what to do - any help appreciated!
