Exhaust note - 2017 Cayenne S V8 Diesel
Hi,
A bit of an odd one...
I have a 2017 Cayenne S with AdBlue.
I've noticed every time it is going through a regen, that the exhaust note is noticeably much better.
For a V8 (I appreciate it is a diesel and not petrol), I find the noise of this car is quite muted - I understand the pre AdBlue cars are less so.
When going through a regen, you can definitely hear the stereotypical V8 rumble that you would usually expect.
So my questions are...
1. Why would this be the case, are there any valves in the exhaust system that open during a regen ?
2. If there is an answer to the above, how can I maintain this noise all the time... ?
Thanks
