Default DPF sensor code P2453 Cayenne 958.2 2017 4.2 V8

Hi

Recently P2453 code came up on the dash, following online search it says DPF sensor failure. Can you please give me an idea where the sensor is in 4.2 litre V8 engine for 2017 model Cayenne?

Is 95860615110 the right code for this sensor if I need to buy a replacement?

I have the same issue. I think it should be the DPF pressure difference sensor on the cylinder bank 1. Can somebody help me how can I reach the sensor without disassembling the half of the engine? I think it is located on the side of the transmission, near the engine and the turbo.

I would really appreciate your help

From what I found online the sensor is located underneath, middle of the car, passenger side, the sensor faces out towards the side of the car, wire runs up towards the engine.

I haven’t checked personally as didn’t really have time but let me know please if you got a chance to confirm its position as I would need to do the same replacement.

I hope the sensor is just out of order and needs simple replacement and hopefully no other DPF parts are involved.

Would be great to check sensor itself with a multimeter and check its pressure with Launch or any other scanner to be sure it's just a sensor issue.

Yes, I think the location is where you think, but as far as I have seen, it is nearly unreachable, I have to detach the exhaust system from the turbo. On launch it seems that the sensor fells a negative pressure when the engine not running, only on ignition, even if it is running on low rpm (under 1.200 revs/min). The symptoms are worsening if the engine (thus the sensor) is hotter.

Have you got a chance to locate your sensor?

I will try to do it tomorrow as well, somebody has also advised that this sensor might me in the engine bay?

I have got live readings and it returns the following:
Differential pressure sensor: Bank 1 - 17-20hPa and Bank 2 - 5-8hPa
Back gas exhaust pressure sensor: Bank 1 and Bank 2 around 1120-1140 hPa both
DPF calculated soot load: Bank 1 - 17.95g and Bank 2 - 5.51g
Exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor: 104.5 degree C
Exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor raw voltage: 1089 mV

Looks like the Bank 1 is slightly blocked not sure why auto regen not kick in.
As I believe this faulty differential pressure sensor also causing my other issue with AdBlue

Hello,

yes, I managed to change it. You have to lower the gearbox and dismantle the cardan shaft. After that you can reach it. It is holded only by 1 torx screw. After that all my issues gone.

ps.: I had negative hPa readings, without the engine running/idle.
