Oil consumption plus oil on the intake manifold and under the car on the passenger side. I guess the 'consumption' could just be the leak. Or I could have both. I haven't seen any blue smoke.

When you added the oil saver, did you have any leak, or just consumption?

Thanks for that. I didn't see that thread earlier.

The 955 didn't leak any oil. It was a pretty reliable P!G. The blue smoke was the only telltale sign of a bit of oil getting past the valve seals. Still passed smog no problem. The minor oil consumption 1 quart every 2K started around 210K miles. Otherwise, we just piled the miles on as usual.

The new to us 958 TT is a high mileage purchase. It's currently got 156K (picked up at 154K). So far no major issues. Did the baseline fluid exchange like you just did with yours so will keep an eye on things as we get to know this one.
