Default 2011 Cayenne Hybrid Clutch not Engaging until 1500rpm?

Not sure if this is a fault or design?

Whether pedal to the floor or at any position from 0 mph or very low speeds I noticed the clutch does not engage until 1500rpm (I put my foot down I watch the revs go from 0-1500rpm) and the car will not move until about 1500rpm or maybe 1200rpm.

I'm used to manual transmission where you put your foot down and it goes.

It makes the car so slow literally adds an unnecessary 1-1.8 seconds.

Does anyone else's Cayenne do this?

You literally put your foot down from 0 and it's just over 1-1.8 seconds until the revs fly up and the car moves.

This just happens in 1st gear when pulling away. You see the rev counter fly up to 1500rpm real quick from 0 but it's like the car is programmed not to move until 1500rpm?

Could this be a fault?

I was wondering if it's the ECU deciding if to use hybrid motor or petrol the delay.

I don't think one of those plug and play throttle response things would help, because the throttle is reacting, it's the clutch that isn't engaging to let the car go.

Does feel like it's the ECU or something programmed.

How can I rid this delay? Throttle response chip? Gearbox map? A different clutch, clutch upgrades? Or more Power

Default Update

Done some research basically it has a Tiptronic gearbox which is known for being sh*t pull off.

PDK much better so might try a Macan next.

Putting the car in manual mode does help
