Issue with power steering porsche cayenne 958
Hello,
Since a few weeks, my power steering seems to be harder on my 2011 porsche cayenne S. I scanned the codes yesterday and it has this code:
80410F, 80410B - Limp home power steering
Does anybody know where to start? I'm a bit lost, fluid levels are good, maybe a steering rack? Or a steering column issue?
Thank you for anybody who can help

Did you ever get this resolved? I have ‘13 GTS with the same codes and symptoms. Shop also thinks it’s the module, but has never done it before. Any guidance would be appreciated!

I’d love to contact your shop for some insight on the job. Mind sharing the info? Thanks!

Sure. Jerry Pellegrino at European Performance Engineering in Natick, MA. (508) 651-1316.
Jerry is the owner. He's a little bit gruff and does a LOT of work, so may not remember my specific Cayenne, but it's worth a shot.

I'm surprised a shop can't figure it out... just disassemble the entire region surrounding the steering column, so the column lowered enough to swap the module.

Thanks for the info. I talked to Jerry, but he didn’t remember any specifics. I got ahold of a module, and found a different shop to do the work.
