2011 CTT, wife commutes to work about 10 miles, drives like a grandma and I take it out once a week to "un-stick" them turbos though I don't exactly romp on it to the red line. Rear Continental tires with 560 rating lasted 9500 miles, the wear is even with no signs of anything abnormal alignment wise. Front axle has a lot of life left. Is this more or less normal for these? Car is always empty with one driver, we run 35psi front and 39psi rear. Rear tires are at the wear bars 1 year after install.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yeah that isn’t surprising - depends on the tire obviously but I’ve had Michelins wear that fast in the rear and some others last way longer. Contis usually have a 50k mileage warranty so maybe check into credit when replacing

I play the Continental mileage warranty game on my Cayman. I run Conti ExtremeContact Sports. They have a 30k mile warranty but with staggered set ups they half it to 15k miles. I get maybe 10k out of my rears so I get a discount every time I replace my rears. Discount Tire handles the warranty and credit.

Yep I do the same on my Cayenne - usually get 40-50% credit. Have tried Michelins but they wear so quickly and have a terrible warranty - and cost more.

I use Michelin latitude sport 3 N1 - 10k on rears and 20k on fronts always. This is due to a rear bias on AWD system. My tires always wear perfectly flat and even and I have no problem with it. I don't rotate even though I have a square set up of 295/35/21 I simply buy new rears more often. Its the price we pay for performance and handling balance
