Default Windscreen heater

Hey everyone!

I've realized my car has a windshield with a heater option that wasn't originally equipped. I'm interested in using it, and I'm wondering if anyone knows what I need to do to make it operational. Should I add a button and code the option, or is there another way? Thanks!

What's that picture about. Your car or a button you want to add to your car. Looks like the OEM tailgate party BBQ button.

I'm not sure but would assume some sort of wiring would be needed right?

Well I guess the window should be connected trough the button to the power supply, I just don't know should it be connected to any special module or is it just a matter of power supply and a button

You might want to do a search for a wiring diagram. Nothing is simple on these cars, with smart relays and timers and lights on the dash etc. I would not assume that there is any existing prewiring.
