I put a used module in mine and the car recognized the trailer. But I was still able to open the rear hatch using the button on the door. I thought that would have been disabled?

For mine, the hatch will open/ close with the buttons on the rear hatch. The button on the drivers door and key fob don't do anything (it unlatch but does not open and it re-latches in a couple of seconds)

I bought a Piwis but haven't coded my car (truck?) yet. I'll see what happens to the hatch button functionality afterwards.

Ok,
So if i understood correctly,
If i buy the hitch off SunCoast, It should come with almost everything I need and I would only need to buy the Trailer Plug Harness Mount in addition.
or
I can try to piece everything together part by part:
Used OEM Cayenne/Q7/Touareg Hitch [abandoning the Curt idea as the chain hooks might not be as compatible or convenient]
wiring harness,
Bolts
trailer plug,
and module if I don't already have one.

Did I miss anything?
Anyone know of any alternate part numbers worth searching?
