Is your tpms menu turned on? I know you can select which menus are shown if you don't want scroll through them all. I didn't need the navigation or radio so those are deselected in my car. You may want to run through the settings while parked in that little display and ensure it isn't deselected.

Well, finally got the list of options on my vehicle and got answers to some of my doubts.... I used this site to decode my option codes: https://www.stuttcars.com/porsche-ca...options-codes/

Unfortunately for me, my vehicle came with option 7K0 = "without tire pressure monitoring". Never knew this was even an option!

Regarding the auto start stop, mine is equipped with option 7L8 = "start/stop system "default on". Option 7L6 = always off" and option 7L4= "last mode". How I wish I had one of these two options instead...

It shows up as if the vehicle came with the 20" Spyder rims, but obviously this is now not the case. Gotta investigate if my current wheels are in fact Porsche or aftermarket...

One last option that confuses me: 1Y0:" without Porsche Torque Vectoring, without rear differential lock (only with central differential lock". I guess this explains why I can't manage to lock the rear differential on the center console (light bulb never lights up nor shows on the MFD).

Gonna use this thread as a quasi log of my journey.... So far, I've been able to find answers to the doubts I initially had. Perhaps this may help others in the future:
1- TPMS: there is an option for Cayenne not to have this system installed and my vehicle is an example of this, hence why I couldn't find the TPMS menu on the MFD.
2- Tool kit: now that the seller delivered the jack, all I'm missing is the center cap removal tool and I will make one out of a coat hanger (vs. paying $50 for a small piece of bent wire). The center plastic cover on the spare saver wheel is in fact the tool to loosen the tie down of said wheel.
3- Auto Start Stop: there are three options from factory: a- always on, b- always off, c- remember last used. Unfortunately mine is the "always on" so I have to press the button each time I start driving.
4- Auto locking doors upon exiting the vehicle: have been unable to find any info on this and would love to have this feature (the car automatically locks itself after X seconds assuming the key is not in the vehicle).
5- Interior lights: gotta mess around with the series of buttons to get it where I want it. No time right now.
6- PCM software update: I know the dealership is lying to me when they say they cannot update me from 4.41 to 4.76. Gotta figure out how to get this update and see if that helps with the poor AUX BT connection (sometimes it works, others it doesn't).
7- Wiring: yes Porsche left some thin wires exposed near the firewall. Nothing that a couple of inches of wire harness automotive cloth tape cannot fix. Weird, but it is what it is.
8- Rear camera and Park Assist: once again the local dealer doesn't know their head from their a...ses. Figured out that all I had to do what go into the PCM and follow these instructions to get the grid lines and Park Assist "sonar display": press the Car button, then press Options, then press Set Car, then press Set Parking, then press on all of the options you'd like to have, among them: Park Assist (will give you the overlay of the vehicle and the sonar with colors for proximity), Rear View Camera (self explanatory..), and RVC Gridlines (orange lines that "predict" where you are going based on steering wheel angle).

Years ago I spent a lot of time properly setting up my iPod to properly display artist, song title, genre, etc. and now I can reap the rewards as I have ±50GB of hi-fi music on an old iPod that is now connected via the USB aux input. I can find my music due to the aforementioned configuration. I can't stand how my kids sometimes listen to music and all it displays is "track 1, track 2, unknown artist, etc.". I know that the vast majority listen to music online, but I see being able to use my old iPod (with music that I no longer have the original CDs for) as a "win".

Tomorrow off to drop it off at the stealership for valve gasket replacement and PPI. I know PPIs are done before buying, but in this case, I did not have the chance and makes no difference if they find anything as it's under warranty. Once I see what is wrong (or nothing!) I'll make my decision as to pay $2K per year for extended warranty or roll the dice...

6- PCM Software update: just found the ISO file (and downloaded it!) to update my PCM 3.1 from version 4.41 to 4.76. Just need to burn the contents of the downloaded folder (not just the folder) onto a Verbatim DVD-R at a slow speed (2x or 4x).

That's the whole point of this board/thread: to share findings in the hopes that it may help others. I've learned A LOT on this board and would like to give back to the community.

I think with the Piwis you can unlock some options which you don’t factory have.

I asked the service agent at the local dealer if she could change the "option code" for the Auto Start Stop from "always activated" to "never activated". She said something to the effect of "if we can do this, then you will not be able to toggle it back to activate it", so I think they may be able to do that. Will know when I pick it up (delayed because factory technicians from Germany are here visiting due to some issue with a battery on a Cayenne Hybrid).

I *think* when I research my cayenne, I saw that if you have the "comfort memory package", the start/stop setting is part of the memory package. (8-9 months ago) My start/stop has always turn off and I don't need to click it every time I drive. Just an FYI, I have the "Q1J 18-way Adapt Sprt Seat-Mem Pkg".

I *think* that the Auto Start Stop is not related to memory package, but instead it is its own separate option. From post #17 above: "Regarding the auto start stop, mine is equipped with option 7L8 = "start/stop system "default on". Option 7L6 = always off" and option 7L4= "last mode". You are right. I had to dig up the advance decoding document for my vin and it does show 7L4 START/STOP ?LAST MODE? W. RECOUP. as the option code.

Forgot to update this when I picked up the vehicle a few days ago.... Was told that they could not re program my vehicle to permanently disable toe Auto Start Stop function. "Once coded from factory, this cannot be changed" was what I was told by the local dealer. That said, I don't trust 100% the information coming from them, so take it FWIW. Planning to do a series of maintenance items at an indy shop in a couple of weeks (headed by the ex head mechanic at the local dealership for 15+ years...) and will ask then if he is able to modify this very annoying feature.

Warranty work at the beginning of this month (replacement of valve cover gaskets) revealed that the vehicle needs more warranty work: 1- some sort of bushing for the front diff (thought that the clunk I was hearing came from the transfer case); 2- front upper control arms (worn bushings); 3- power steering pump (works perfectly, no leaks, but extremely noisy); 4- sunroof operation (slow to close on the last 1/3, can be due to mis alignment, dirt, lack of grease, or would replace entire assembly); 5- rear hatch noise (need to disassemble the rear hatch as something is definitely loose and constantly rubbing making a very loud rattle at all times).

Update: thanks to @flgfish I managed to obtain an .iso file that allowed me to update my PCM 3.1 from version 4.41 to 4.76. I did try (multiple times) to burn the files onto a Maxell DVD-R, but each time it failed during the "verification process". I bought some Verbatim DVD-R and on the first try, it worked! Took about 20 minutes to burn the files to the DVD (at 3x speed which is the slowest my Mac with the external Samsung DVD burner could do). Went for a short drive and 20 minutes later, my vehicle is now updated to 4.76! Not sure if it will make a huge difference (was having long delays before the AUX BT connected and a couple of times it just did not connect), so I am hoping this improves that bit. And to think the dealer insists that "this is not possible"...

A couple of days ago, I took the vehicle to the tire shop for a complimentary tire rotation service and completely forgot to adjust the tire pressures (rears were moved to the fronts). What a difference it makes! May sound dumb/simple, but do keep an eye out for tire psi! Running 37 fronts 42 rears as per user manual.

Dropped the car off at the dealership for power steering pump replacement as well as reservoir. Being done under warranty as this was reported back when the vehicle was under warranty.

Also being replaced is some sort of "bushing" that connects driveshaft to front differential. Apparently this is the reason behind a "thump/bump" when going over speed bumps and when going from reverse to drive. Was already told that if this bushing doesn't fix the problem, I'm out of luck/further warranty repair as the vehicle is now out of warranty (even though the problem was reported when the vehicle was under warranty). Their reasoning/explanation behind not doing "whatever it takes to solve the problem reported when the vehicle was under warranty" is: "imagine you go to a foot doctor with foot pain, he does some work on your ankle and doesn't solve it, then you go back and fixes your knee (original source of foot pain), you pay the doctor twice, so if our fix of your ankle (warranty) doesn't solve your foot pain (transmission issues), then you get to pay out of pocket for the knee repair (whatever truly is wrong with the vehicle). Ouch...
