Default Wiper Blade sizing, what are you running?

So I'm looking for a new seat of blades for the 958 and everyplace says 26 driver's and 26 passenger side. However, I have that on currently and the passenger side is slightly off the glass when it's in position #1. It's actually slightly off the glass. I'm thinking a 24" or 25" is a better fit. Just wondering what the members are running?

Hard thing about that is that FCP's site sells them in pairs and they are 26" for both sides.

I am also running some Bosch wipers in 26" and 26" and find exactly the same, When parked the end of the passenger side wiper sits just off the screen. It does come into contact on the arc of the wiper eventually but not until approx 1/3 of its arc, I suspect a 25" wiper would get it if you want to reduce the size judging by the width of the section that isn't being wiped properly.

I run these: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...nne-3397009034
If the wipers seem "short" on the passenger side, than the wiper arm itself might shifted on the gear.

edit: re-read your post after some coffee and it sounds exactly like what i was experiencing. likely snow and ice moved the arm "out of time". its fixable and you can run the 26" blades.

I ordered that exact set earlier this week and they arrive on Tuesday. I'm gonna run them because well..... FCP! However, I may spring for a single wiper in a 25" and see how that works.

Do these Bosch units curve and wipe as good as OE ones?

In the beginning they do. I'm not a good judge of this because I live in California. Hot weather destroys our wipers here before anything else.

Can you post up a picture of your passenger side with the wiper in its resting position? Does it come off the glass?

Local dealer charges $117.56 for the front pair of wiper blades, $31.13 for the rear, plus $20 in labor to replace the fronts and $18 in labor to replace the rear. Just posting for reference sake.

I think the Bosch wiper blades are the same as the OEM, they look the same. I got mine from Amazon I think they are 26" for both fronts. I think they are the Ikon model.

Just installed the Bosch from FCP. Both 26" and both fit. The passenger side in no longer falling off the end of the glass. I pulled the ole ones out of the trash and realized that they were Michelin wipers and the attachment point made it do the passenger side was sticking off the edge.

Happy camper.

Default Michelin Guardian Plus Beam From Costco

I put Michelin Guardian Plus Beam From Costco and work well, no issues. You can use the link below to find out size and next to size there is installation video as well. There is no sliding off the glass with these.

https://us.michelin-lifestyle.com/en...o-wiper-blades

For some reason Bosch sells you 26 inch both driver and passenger wiper blade and for Michelin Guardian + Beam size is 24 inch. For this particular size there are only 2 attachment. One is J hook pre installed which you need to remove it and install SLIDE one. It only took a minute. These are quality product as you can tell by rubber and wiper functions and no issues so far. As you can see Video is 1 minutes long and this is about time take to change these blades.

Running Bosch 26" front for both, and Bosch A332H 12" for the rear. You can get these anywhere. The rear was only $15 at NAPA.

Does it makes a difference which size you choose for rear wiper? I have seen here people talk about 12 to 15 inches. There is only 1 wiper on rear so not sure if sliding off glass will be an issue with larger size wiper?
