Off Road Package: Metal rocker panel removal?

Off Road Package: Metal rocker panel removal?
So my 2013 has the dreaded water sloshing sound. It also has the off road package with the under body protection. I need to drain the door sill rail, but can't figure out how to get the under body rocker panel off. If you don't have the off road option, these are plastic and removed by a dozen or so screws... Mine are metal and I've removed all the screws, but still can't get this thing off. Any ideas? What am I missing?

It's the same process as the plastic panels. There are a bunch of nuts on the side of the bodywork still holding it in place. If you can get the subscription, AllDataDIY covers the removal: pop off the 2 cover panels below the door openings, then undo all the side nuts retaining the panel which also require removal of the fender liners and fender plastic trim pieces.

And holy crap... that was a lot of water...
