M05.9E Vs MCR.CA engine 3.0 TDi
Hello all
as I’m looking for CD 2011 or 2012 model.
I find it quite interesting with engine M05.9E was just produced 1 year and over to MCR.CA
Any one knows why?
im from Norway and it’s hard to find CD with good service history. As I’m a car guy but I fix cars by hobby. Looking to get a step up from VAG. As I read it’s expensive cars to keep but on the other hand, with good maintenance it’s not too expensive. Just a lot of mods and fix in these engines to change new seals and stuff.
question is between these two engines. Serviced well on Porsche factory. Both almost 220.000 km on it - 136.000miles.
something I should be aware of in the long run? As timing chain it’s on the list for change.
I find it quite less places to buy parts. unless Fcpeuro.com - Any more tips from others sites?
thanks for answering and have a great weekend
