I just bought a 2017 Cayenne S with 115000 kilometers on it. Since day one I hear a constant and distinct whining noise coming from somewhere even if the car is stationary. It goes up and down with engine RPM. Turning the AC off or turning the steering wheel doesn't affect the noise. The car has an extended warranty, and when I took it to Porsche they said they cannot diagnose or fix any noises under an extended warranty until it actually fails!!
I uploaded a video in which you can hear the noise. Has anyone experienced this before? Is it normal? something failing?

maybe a vacuum line, check small rubber hoses

Sounds like a lose rubber turbo hose to me. They are secured by hose clamps and come up the front into the intake manifold.

No over time it got less (or I started to tune it out more lol) so I never pursued it further.
