Default Is the "Porsche PCM Settlement" Real?

I received an email regarding a settlement regarding the rebooting of the PCM (we had tht happen a while ago), and I am not sure if anybody else has received oneIf your Porsche experienced rebooting of the Porsche Communication Management System ("PCM" or "infotainment system") on or after May 20, 2020, you may be entitled to a cash payment.

A federal court authorized this notice. www.PorschePCMSettlement.com

Looks real. Similar to the gas mileage one. I think the only people to benefit from all these class actions are the lawyers putting these together.

I got it too - you are entitled to $25 cash or a $50 dealer credit when it settles. I’m still waiting on the last MPG payment that I submitted in October. Attorneys love this stuff.

I am looking for a "Porsche PCM Fix", not a settlement. My 2015 CD PCM reboots itself once or twice every time I get in it. Is there a user friendly solution? Please post a link if you know of one.

I mean... money don't grow on trees. But $25 will buy you Porsche gum.

Search for the old post. It happened in 2020, we all got on here. Just don't remember the fix solution, but mine has been fine ever since.

I want my two dollars!
Mine did it; I fixed it, sometimes I wish I was a lawyer. (Not often, though)

The email says to include the "Notice ID" and last 4 of VIN (or something like that) to submit a claim.

Does anyone have a "notice ID" in their email?

I don't.

I have the notice ID in the email, but when I submit the ID and last 4 of my VIN, the screen just refreshes and empties the fields with no confirmation or next steps. It's like the form is stuck in a reboot loop....

I just received a new email with the ID. I'm guessing I wasn't the only one.

What a crock. I want to know what the lawyers got for each $25 or $50 gift card......probably 10X. Really, a lawsuit because we had to reboot the PCM a few times.

So the website created by the lawyers suing Porsche for random PCM reboots.... has a problem with random reboots....

This is one of many absurd class action suits. As usual, the plaintiffs receive some token acknowledgement. The class action attorneys get a new jet.
