Mine always says 'Engine Start' or similar when cranking, but then mine is a diesel which may well be different, I don't know. Time wise in the very cold conditions and assuming it has to detect oil pressure, I wouldn't have thought that was too far off.

While battery might very well be to blame, when the tow module craps out if will disable the auto start stop.... which is what its supposed to do when towing, just a thought... I disable it anyways... it's useless.
when my battery was "bad" I couldn't remove the key from the ignition without pressing the little unlock button beside it.... weird. but it "tested" good at Napa...
