'14 CTT CEL and limp mode (reduced engine power) P1508
Hey folks, I picked up a '14 CTT with 63k miles a few weeks ago as my daily, and tonight while driving home from dinner it threw a CEL with a "reduced engine power" warning. When I tried to go up a hill it started bucking, so I pulled over, cycled the ignition, and while the CEL remained it seemed fine. I scanned the code and it's P1508, which I can't find much info on.
It had a drained battery when I first got it, so I'm wondering if this could perhaps just be a battery issue and I need a new one? Or, is it something more concerning?

Thanks, although other posts seem to indicate other possible problems. I’ll clear the code and put the car on the battery tender and see what happens.
I forgot to mention I also got an “ACC/PAS unavailable” message at the same time as the CEL and limp mode. This kind of seemed like maybe it was electrical/battery related.
Edit: looked at the service records and the battery was replaced in 2016, so it's almost 7 years old now. It's beyond time for a new battery, correct? IIRC these usually don't make it past 6 years.

While no guarantee, multiple, unrelated warnings often point to a battery.
And yes, after 6 years it's probably time to change it regardless. There's a good battery procedure in the DIY section.
