Default Inflate tire warning coming on with TPMS reading normal

I've read through a few prior threads on this but none seem to have "the answer." Recently, even though my TPMS is showing normal and equal pressures (side to side and front to rear) I've gotten warnings to inflate left rear tire 4-6 psi. Usually occurs on a startup and will go away if I reset the TPMS system. Since it's happened 2-3 times in the last few days, I'm looking for a more lasting solution. 2016 CD. Thanks. Bill

Bumping this to see if anyone can shed some light (so to speak) on this recurring annoyance. Thanks. Bill

OK, this will be the last bump. Can anyone shed some light on this before I make a trip to the dealership? Thanks much. Bill

not to ask the obvious, you've tried adding the 4-6 psi to the rear tire?

I recently replaced all 4 TPMS sensors. My rears were indicating -6 and -4 on each side and wasn't able to reset and re-learn the pressure. Manual readings were spot on. No issues after replacing the sensors.

Thanks for response, gonzoe11. To the others, I checked pressures manually and by resetting the TPMS and all were fine. Warning went off for a couple trips then came back on, repeatedly. Bill

If you look at the actual pressure readings, not the +/- readings, are those correct? It might be that your target pressures are set too high?

I guess by targets I mean if you have the correct wheel and tire size selected in the menu.
