Default Facelift conversion! Help

I have 2015 958.2

Has anybody converted this car’s rear end to the newer style with the light bar?

I understand I’ll need to purchase a new lights, tailgate and bumper, but was wondering whether they would fit into the current quarter panels?

I can see this conversion has been done by several people on the macan forums, but don’t know if it’s possible on the cayenne and haven’t seen it done!

Thanks!!

The light's won't fit the quarter panels. I would just buy the new body imo. It's going to cost a LOT of money for this conversion.

That is not correct. You can just buy bumper and tail gate (plus anything else that is needed). Quarter panels are the same.

I think 970MS didn't realize the guy said he has a 958.2 and wants to upgrade to the 9Y0 "light bar" but as one of my teachers always said "seldom right, never in doubt!"

As the 2nd guy suggested, trade in your 958.2 and buy the new one if you want the light bar. You're looking at two completely different cars, no body panels are shared in the back.
