Default I want to lower my 2017 Cayenne S 2 inches

Hey guys, any good kits to lower non air suspension car. I have Vossen 21s on it. Definitely needs to drop two inches. I keep seeing kits for $300 to $500 bucks. Looks like when I google search nothing fits a 2017 Cayenne S on those sites and whatevr does is to cheap. I want to spend 1 to 2 grand for a good quality kit. Any suggestions? Im in northern virginia.

With a budget a budget of $1,000 - $2,000 there are lots of options -

You can go with the Bilstein B-12s (for around $1,200) mentioned above:

Bilstein B12 (Pro-Kit) (tirerack.com)

I had something similar on my 997.2 and did not love them.

Or try the Ceika coilovers or BC coilovers (for around $1,500):

Custom Coilovers - Ceika Performance (ceika-store.com)
Product Result – BC Racing (bcracing-na.com)

I have not tried the Ceika or BC coilovers - I did know someone who had the BC's on their 997 and he seemed to like them.

I think you might be happier with the Coilovers as you should be able to adjust the height , rebound, and compression.

If you were local I would let you try out my car so you could see how good the KW's are... but I don't know if they are any better than the BC's or Ceika (other than they are stainless steel, fully rebuildable here in the USA, and they have a stellar reputation).

Keep us posted on which way you go.

Good luck.

I have Bilstein and H&R Springs on mine, lowering is only about 1.5" after settling the ride is firm but it handles great.

This is good stuff here and thank you for taking the time to lay this out for us. Your setup sure costs a lot more than most of these coil overs. Crazy! How many miles are on yours and are they worth the money?

I have H&R on my Cayenne S, but it's only lowered for 1.2 inch. Wanted to drop more, 2 inch too.... I guess we have no choice to have coilover .... More expensive than $300-$400 coilspring

The problem is if you just do springs you will end up blowing the shocks out because they are tuned and set up for the OEM springs so when you're setting up the car like that be ready. Do coilovers or stay stock

I'm actually interested should you decide to sell them I myself was actually going to go the Overland route with my wife's Cayenne S, but she decided against it and now wants more of the GTS ride and height.

How many miles do you have on your KW's ?

sorry for the semi-necro-bump but didn’t want to start a new thread…

In my searches, I swear I saw something about a sensor calibration needed when lowering these. I can’t find the post now, but it makes sense that may be PASM/air only… is that right? Car looks great, thanks!
