Default Tunezilla finally released a TCU tune for the diesel transmission. Anyone order it?

I decided to take the plunge on the TCU tune as Tunezilla finally released it for our transmission remapping. I’m super excited to see what the potential of the diesel is before the dealer ruined it from the diesel gate. According to these guys, the tcu tune is better than the pre-diesel gate days with their magic. I hope to have this tune by the weekend so I can install it and get the programmer back to them. I’m also doing a stage-2 tune at the same time.

Anyone else put an order in?

I ordered the TCU and Stage 2 tune on Black Friday! The PCM tuner tool is supposed to be here today. I will immediately reprogram the TCU and hope it is exactly like they said, "Better than pre-diesel gate." The rest of the exhaust delete kit will be here next week. I think the biggest immediate difference should be the drivability/performance restoration by the remapping of the TCU. Now that my diesel extended warranty has expired, it was time to "FIX" everything.

That DELAY when downshifting is frustrating.
I see the tune helps that delay.
Interested.

Can you install the transmission tune without the rest of the tune? Here in Ca. they smog diesels every 2 years and I'm told the computer will detect any add on tune.

they're physically separate controllers, and I don't see how adjusting shift points on a transmission has anything to do with smog or emissions. also, tunezilla states that you cant use the typical flashzilla tuner for the TCU, so something else has to be sent to the customer in order to flash it.

Awesome! You wasted no time jumping on that and getting the sale price is nice right out of the box. I ordered it Monday morning so I hope the controller at my house tomorrow. Let me know how it goes once you have it programmed!

Have you had a chance to tune it yet and report back? I was sent an email stating I'm being delayed because they don't have the tuners available with such the high ordering from black Friday. I hope it'll be here in the next week or two.

About to pull the trigger as well on TCU + Stage 2. Very curious how TCU feels from our early adopters.
