So decided to use the Cayenne to take the boat back to storage the other day instead of the truck to see how it tows. When I plug the trailer in, the running lights on the trailer flash dimly. There are no messages or warning lights. If I turn the lights on they come on and stay on. Lights on the trailer are all led. Anyone ran across this issue? Wiring on the trailer is in good shape. Have not tried another trailer yet to see if it does the same thing.

I think you need this adapter. I have one and have towed uhauls and several different boat trailers and never had lighting problems-
