So I recently got new tires for my 2011 S and as one of the TPMS sensors was only reading intermittently, I decided to replace all 4. Attached is a pic of the bad sensor, but I was wondering how to read when this was manufactured / how old it was. The number circled in blue has "16/11/10" so would that be Nov 10, 2016? Nov 16, 2010? In doing a google search, I came across someone saying that the date code on some sensors are shown by the part circled in red: there's an arrow pointing to "9" within a circle that goes from 1 to 12, and beside the arrow is a "1" and "0" which should be interpreted as Sept of 2010. I know my car left the factory in Nov-2010 so just trying to figure out if my sensors were original to the car or were replaced by the previous owner around 2016. Thanks.
Thanks. If that's the case then my sensors lasted almost 12 years and 3 of 4 are still actually working. Not too bad as I've heard typically anywhere from 5-10 years. Anyone else on their original sensors?
