Default Biggest Tires that fit

I’m looking to put a set of AT tires on my 958.2 Cayenne Diesel with standard suspension. I had planned to do lift spacers but not sure it’s worth the hassle or added cost. I know that a 255/55/18 will fit, as it’s stock size, but my preferred tire doesn’t come in that size - Falkin Wildpeaks. They do come in 265/60/18. Anyone running this size on stock steel springs? Anything else work?

I ran BFGs on my CD. I don't remember off the top of my head, but run a search for Otis. A couple built a CD to T-S-D rallies and fitted BFGs. I remembered using the same size.

i run 255/55/19 Wildpeaks on a 2012 CTT.
19 inch is smallest wheel that will fit.
Just compare diameters.
Wish I could go a little bigger tbh.

Your CTT has larger brakes and rotors than the OP's CD. He can certainly fit 18" wheels.

To the OP...your best best is to test fit a single wheel/tire in that size and check for rubbing on steering lock and spring compression...

Regardless of wheel size, the diameter of the tire is, of course, the limiting factor.

I'm running 265/50/20 Falken Wildpeaks for winter tires on my '13 CTT. They fit but it's close on the rear edge of the wheel well, so I don't think you could go much bigger diameter wise, unless you want to try to adjust caster.

Here's what Tire Size Calculator says comparing my tires to your stock tires:

Can confirm. I ran 955/7 18" wheels on my CD.

265 60 18 fits but it is pretty snug at stock height on steel suspension. I have a pic somewhere I can dig up from before adding the 2" lift [addit]

From my research as i convert my Cayenne Base steel suspension. 265/60/18 fits no issue. 265/65/18 rubs when steering turns and can be remedied with either 2" lift or plastic trimming.

I've opted for 265/65/18 with 2" lift.

I decided on the same thing. Order e-motion lift spacers, but still on the fence about going 265/60 or 265/65. I hear that 65's can still rub even with the lift. Thoughts on pro's and con's between the 60 and 65s?

I was looking for maximum sidewall as that made the biggest difference back in my FJ days. I also luckily got my tire set heavily discounted in only 65 size.
I'm curious to see what rubbing occurs as a member posted 255/70/18's fit with minimal issue

Interesting to opine before actually fitting the tires yourself. I've spoken with 2 others who purchased 265/65/18 and ended up trashing them because of the rub. 265/60/18 I think is maximum that will fit without cutting on our chassis. But do circle back and share with us your results!

We just installed the Emotion 1.5/1.0 on a 958.2 Diesel last week. Emotion will instruct you to run stock wheel offsets and add positive caster to move the tire away from the front liner. You can secure the front liner differently to add more clearance as well. Hoping this will cure the slight rub we're getting from the et45 offset on our Braids.

Stock offset wheels are key. The boys at Eurowise say you need to cut the fender liners and run their 3" lift with upper control arms to run 265/65s because they run frat-bro truck offsets (et10-et20.)

I think around 30-31 is max OD and no rubbing.
