Default TDI-Tuning vs tunezilla

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum, but have had our porsche since 2018. We have the 2014 Porsche Cayenne Diesel Platinum edition, and love it. Only has around 56k miles on it today. It does have the "post-fix" in it. it has had a stutter when its cold for as long as we have owned it. Driving through the community it will jerk and stutter, until it gets warmed up. My understanding is this is primarily due to the fix, and can be "almost eliminated" by one of these two options (TDI-Tuning or Tunezilla).
From what I have read and looking at all the pictures it seems like TDI-Tuning is doing more of a "fake the sensors" fix , where Tunezilla is actually tuning the existing system to be something better than it was. Maybe I am wrong and wanted to get the groups overall opinion of next steps?
I don't want to cut exhaust off or anything major like that, it is my wife's daily driver. Both options seem to be "plug and play" although the tunzilla all in is about double the cost of TDI-Tuning option.

Please let me know thoughts, ask questions, and see where we go with this !!

Thanks!

Tunezilla from a company like Malone Tuning re writes the ECU, I think its a better option IMHO. There are lots of opinions so do what is best for you.

I did the Malone stage 2 tune with deletes and the transmission tune from the guy on club touareg. The thing rips! Runs so much better.

Hmm similar to what I was thinking , though the transmission would be cool and maybe help the issues more than not.
could you please post the link To the person that did yours ?
thanks!

I have the Malone tuning on both my 2015 & 2016 diesels.
On the 2015 it’s full deletes with SCR & DPF removed with Rawtek exhaust.
On my 2016 I have the EGR disabled but the SCR & DPF still functioning. Did it this way as I still have warranty on it and it’s easy to flash back to stock.
I am super happy with the tuning and no regrets at all. I do get about 20% better fuel economy with the SCR & DPF removed. I guess due to no fuel wasted for regens.
I just wasn’t comfortable with all the sensor faking stuff and is why I chose the Malone tuning myself. I have no experience with the other tuning so can’t comment on it. There is another long thread about the Malone tuning going on as well.

Thanks , I have read (and see the options) for the "deletes" but it is a little confusing, do I have to actually disconnect things to do the "delete" or is it all software? I don't believe my 2014 is under any sort of warranty, and I am in PA so Diesels are exempt from any emissions testing.

sorry to resurrect n old thread, but I was curious about your 2016 tune. How has it held up? Any issues? Did you do the Stage 1, or just stock tune with electronic EGR and SCR delete?
