Rear Hatch Strut Replacement
Hello,
Last week I bought a clean (I hope!) 2013 Cayenne GTS. It does have a problem with the rear hatch fully opening so the dealer ordered replacement struts and is going to have them installed and programmed (?) before he delivers the car to me. Why do the need to be "programmed?" Is this something I could do myself?
Thanks.

Maybe I misread what Quad said, but to avoid fighting the motor while it's moving, it would be better to let it open where it opens to, then once it has stopped, move the tailgate to the amount of opening you desire, then press and hold the closing button until it beeps to set the open limit. It's all in the owner's manual.
