Trailer hitch prep package
If you obtain a build sheet for your vehicle based on the VIN number, you can determine if it had the trailer prep package, which only means the wiring is stubbed out in the cargo area of your SUV. It’s on the right side behind an access panel. If it has this package, you can add a trailer hitch and a towing control module and plug-in the harness and the pigtail for the hitch harness (into the module you add). Check eBay for the module and YouTube for installation videos. It’s an easy DIY project.
