My white Diesel pictured above is running that spec only with 285/35's, which is actually the correct size. My speedo is slow by 2 mph.

For what it's worth, it doesn't change the massive wheel gap, for that you would need to run some 26's lol!

perhaps this tire size i use is more comfortable? i agree the ride is a bit firmer but i find it comfortable enough.
Common sense certainly says that the smaller wheel and the larger profile tire would be a more comfortable ride, but I just threw on my new 22" wheels with 285/35 and 315/30 and I can't believe how much smoother the ride is. Maybe more tire surface contact with the road? These ride much better than my off-road setup which is a 265/60r18. I'm on air suspension as well, which I agree makes a huge difference in your ride comfort. Overall, handling and ride comfort is fantastic with the 22" setup on - in the lowered position is drives great! I'd even consider lowering it another inch or so with lowering links.

Sure do! This thing is a beast out on the dirt, super fun and very capable. Did a little off-roading in Moab last weekend.

Wow! That is one seriously sharp looking setup! Any chance you'd be wiling to post your wheel/tire specs and info? I dont want to copy it exactly but knowing you did would be a great starting point for something similar

You bet! 265/60R18 Wildpeak A/T3W tires on OZ Rally Raid 18x8.5 +32. Fits perfectly, rides great and this thing is a beast off-road. A lot of fun. Let me know if you have any questions. What are you working on building up?

You're the man! Many thanks for that info! And Im new(ish) to Cayenne's so maybe Im confusing my numbers, I thought we needed a 50 offset for the wheels to sit flush and not be sucked in?

My current setup is a 958.2 GTS with air suspension on factory 21" wheels <- which I dig the look of but Ive had two blowouts in 5 months thanks to the garbage roads in CA. So meatier tires would be great for peace of mind, but more than that I want to have some fun hitting the trails and off-roading in this thing, which your setup looks like it'd be perfect for (the fact that you nailed it in the looks/design department is just an added bonus lol)

The lower the number, the more the wheel will stick out. +50 wouldn't quite be flush, I think the +32 is pretty darn close to flush. Can't believe you've had the issues with the air suspension, mine has been fantastic. Are you planning on keeping the air suspension or changing it out along with a lift? You're going to love getting out on some trails, these things are so capable!

In this photo you can see they look just about flush.

Btw, I don't think you can run 18 inch wheels on the GTS due to the larger brake package. Although I've seen a few guys be able to do it using a spacer kit. Here's one I saw in the Off-road VAG and Porsche Facebook group.

Hello @ all !
My first post on this board - but a long-time viewer/reader on the 928 and Panamera threads - as I always seem late to the party and everything has already been answered....thank you all for that!

But now I find myself stuck with a question, I couln't find an answer on this board:

Does this tire/rim combination fit on the 958.1 ?
Fronts 10x22 et48 285/35/22
Rear 11.5x22 et61 315/30/22
And if not, which spacers do I need do make them fit?

@RGTorque Did you have to use spacers?
My understanding is that the dimensions of the wheel arches from the 958.1 stayed the same for the 958.2 (is this correct?).

I hated the wheels. Ride was horrible. Part of this was tires (they were some no name tire), but with that little sidewall on such a heavy car, there is no way you do not feel everything. You are also always worried you are going to bend a rim with every pothole you hit.

Got a set of 19" Turbo wheels and could not be happier.
Had the exact same experience with my 958.1 CTT. I don't believe the suspension changed much in the refresh.

@RGTorque are you lowered or just in the low setting of the air suspension? The diesel looks awesome!
