Default Latest on bumper protection?

Just curious what everyone is using for (rear) bumper protection? Seems like there's a variety of ebay junk out there but no OE options other than the 3M film? Mine is pristine and I'd like to keep it that way

Are you talking about the top of the bumper, protecting it against things going into/out of the trunk?

I'm interested in the same...

Are you looking at a pre-cut piece or regular helicopter tape off a roll?

Suncoast offers a genuine Porsche part at $59 - https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU958BGFE.html

Laminx is available at $49...here's the 3M: https://www.invisiblemask.com/imask/index.php?route=product/product&path=18005&product_id=57529

I'm going to order the 3M, as I also need to
order a piece for the Q7...

That's exactly it! Some precut piece would be good. The clear film is probably ok but a thin metal or rubber alternative would probably work best. Black would be ideal since all my trim and decals are black already.

Edit: the Suncoast one you listed is indeed the main one I found.

For the price, I guess the Lamin-X one is probably worth trying. $39 for the 2014. And I've used their product on headlights before; it comes off easily after several years of use.

I ordered two pieces of the 3M. I'll practice on the Q7 and then do the Cayenne.

I did see stainless aprons, but no carbon or black...

I used to have the stainless on my old GTI. Worked well and probably would look good on most Cayennes as well, except for the GTS with all blacked out trim; seems like it would be out of place.

I ordered the Lamin-X. Thanks for the heads up! There was even a discount, so for $35, worth a try.

Have an ABS molded bumper protector installed. It fit very well and protects the required area.
Purchased it from a retailer in England (shipped to the US via UPS).
Buy RGM Rearguards Bumper Protector - RBP789 | Demon Tweeks (demon-tweeks.com)

coverage under open hatch, installed with 3m tape (pre-attached)

I ordered the Lamin-X but I'm thinking I may just need to order this one anyway. Seems perfect.
