Finally gave up waiting for Rockauto to get both shocks in stock and ordered them from Carid . Found an independent shop who can install them ...so when the parts get here, we will "get 'er done".
Funny part is - you can't tell there is a problem now because it warmed up in Florida. Car is about 11years old , so I guess I'll do the PDCC reservoir too, although the Rennlist DIY showed a clean filter inside when he cut the old one open so it makes me wonder why I would care....

 

My adventure in buying the Struts from CarID turned into the worst online experience ever.
Passenger strut AS-3057 was ordered May 1 and arrived in days but driver side strut AS-3056 arrived 2 weeks later, deflated (very old stock)- was returned and re-ordered, but the replacement (a month later) got lost in delivery.
CarID strung this out with long delays and broken promises from a call center in India (7 weeks now) to the point where I had American Express pull the money back. I'm in the process of RMA returning the one they did send , AS-3057. Ugh... I did at least find a mechanic who will install them, probably should just let him purchase the struts as well... ugh.
