I recently acquired a CPO 958.2 S E-Hybrid with all of my dream options—including an obscure Espresso interior—except PSE. I have a reasonable quote for parts and install (along with the Sport Plus flash and button) from my dealer but I only want to make the plunge if I can answer the following question:
Q: When the 958.2 S E-Hybrid kicks on the petrol engine (when transition from the default, power-on E-Power mode) is it possible with PSE and Sport Plus to ensure that the engine starts up with the PSE exhaust open and at its loudest?
Dealer doesn't know and I can't find a local car to confirm. I also don't fully understand how this will work out because the Suncoast product description tells me that PSE isn't compatible with my S E-Hybrid but my dealer does...
The end goal? I REALLY want the car to sound as close to this as possible

If this isn't a good approach, do any S E-Hybrid owners have a good aftermarket exhaust recommendation for this 6 year old car to get close to the spaceship-esque behavior in the video?

Solved this for myself. My dealer SA was wrong, parts sorted it out. PSE is not compatible with this Supercharged V6. Will have to look aftermarket!
