Id guess the Imperial FED/GOV is the reason... or at least a big part. The newer diesels in American vehicles won't even run properly without it... its totally integrated into it....

Unfortunately I’m short on time these days and am afraid I may drop the ball trying to manage multiple Board communications, but I’ll do my best to get folks in touch so a solution can potentially be developed.
If it were my 335d, I’d just pull them for him and drive another car, but the Cayenne is my better-half’s baby (and DD).

I’m glad you have interest in this. I have been too lazy myself to actually look this up on the TDI forums because I don’t need this yet but I will in the next 12-14 months. I would love a solution instead of just software tuning it to shut off. Glad to see someone else has interest in helping us out! Hopefully someone will come out with a beautiful set up.

I bought the blanking plates but can get my head around where they actually go in to the tract.
I get the one up front near the main intake but have not been able to work out the rear one.

I should have mentioned I have stage 1 Malone tune

Since you need the Malone tune to deal with the missing EGR anyway - and if I understand correctly, that tune closes the valve to the EGR - is there still an advantage to physically removing it from the system?
Obviously, there's a bit of weight, and space to work under the manifold, but does it simplify say, the coolant path in a beneficial way (I've got the coolant leak now, so I'm curious about this in particular) or something else?
Maybe I don't fully understand what's happening here (likely) and someone can help me.

Owner of the company I reached out to is a good guy and a diesel-head. Helped out with a few items for other niche vehicles in the past, but we'll need to get some bits and pieces over to him in order to get him to think through a potential solution. In the past I could play guinea pig, but unfortunately not an option with this vehicle (not mine to fiddle with). Anybody up for sending their old EGR & various bits once they have it pulled for the benefit of the group?

This is the direction I went for the temp sensor in the EGR. Cooler delete kit
I have the Malone stage 1 with EGR delete in the tune however would like to completely remove the EGR and cooler and remove the future possibility of the cooler leaking coolant.
Does the kit come with "destructions".

Hey guys,
I have a coolant leak and the dealer just said that it is the EGR valve.
Question for you guys, when doing the full EGR delete, does it delete the valve under the intake as well? because if it does I'll just do the complete delete. and call it a day.
