I just bought a 958 s with 74k miles from PORSCHE, I mean I've had it for two days. Took it on a 500-mile drive and all hell broke loose. After about 350 miles I started to feel heat coming from under the steering column. I thought the heat came on. Then at 400 miles a flurry of warning messages appeared. Chassie control system, Four-wheel drive system, PASM system, steering lock, electric parking brake, and ABS system. The car was still driving while all this was going on with no noticeable issues. I pulled over and restarted with hopes this would reset and the car sputtered on acceleration. Once it got rolling it drove ok again with no noticeable issues. I drove it directly to the dealer and I'm waiting on a diagnosis. Has anyone heard of or experienced any of this? I'm wondering if I should give it back and get another one. Any thoughts on this?

update guys,
The culprit was a speed sensor or so they say. I have yet to get the car back though. The dealer I guess felt bad and decieded to replace the brakes to make up. Problem is they had to order the parts. So I'm driving a 2019 S.

Bad Battery. Car's probably been sitting for a while and the battery was on it's last leg. You'll be back up in no time.

When my coil went bad my car went into limp mode. Did yours? The original poster mentioned that his car drove normally. Curious to see what the fix is.

When my single coil began to fail it still drove, but rough. A clearing of the fault and restart would fix it until the coil triggered again. Replacing the one coil cleared all the related errors.

When my coild went bad, it still drove and the only code I got was for a bad coil.

After it failed that's all I got as well but the original failure resulted in the slew of warnings. I did a search on the combination and it pointed to the bad coil as being the culprit.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see what the OP says it was when the dealer is done looking at it.
