Default New exhaust tip - Cayenne S Hybrid

I just ordered these yesterday on eBay for a little less than $300. I think they'll look really nice matte along with my gloss black cayenne. I will post a picture of them once I get them delivered and have it installed on my car!

I've been looking at those as well! Also have a Cayenne S Hybrid in silver. Please post pics when you get them!

Will look nice! I just got a pair of OEM Black gloss tips for my 958.2. Not cheap from Suncoast but I'm happy with them. Maybe I should also update the PORSCHE Cayenne to Black as well?

Installed these on my diesel CD last week. Wasn't too difficult. I sure hope these last as they are not factory pieces. Big visual improvement over the stock tips.

Wow! Those look very nice! I hope my matte exhaust tips will go well with my black cayenne. And on the 958.2 I think either black or white both look very aggressive.

Those look really nice and goes very well with the gray exterior! Was the installation just unscrewing the clamp?

Pretty much. it's an odd shaped bolt on the clamp , but just needs a 10mm socket. Loosen fully and remove it out through the bumper. Used a sponge I had handy to position the tips while I tightened them. Worked oddly well.

I tried loosening it with a 10mm socket but I think it’s rusted and it wouldn’t come off.. I ordered new clamps just in case.

Hit it w/WD or PB blaster and come back in 20 minutes. Also, there is a metal slide/clasp that grabs a pin on the underside of the tips. You need to clear that once the clamp is fully loosened

I've got a set of 958.2 Polished black tips for sale $200. These are Porsche OEM and are in pretty much new condition. I never installed them.

These wouldn't fit the 958.1 right..?

That's correct. I thought they would as the seller didn't have information and didn't post pictures. The price was so cheap that I thought if they don't work, I can just sell them. I'm also thinking of drilling the rivets out and installing them on the .1 piping, whick would be real easy.

So either they sell and I just live with my homemade black painted ones, or I attack the project after the suspension rebuild.
