Door module
Dumb question: Is a Door Module the same thing as a Door Lock Module?
My 2015 CD passenger door is messing up. Lights, window, locks, latch. When it did this a couple months ago, my local indie mechanic “reset” the door module. He said if it happened again I might need a new Door Module.
Follow-up question: if I swap it out for a new one, does anything have to be programmed? Or does it all just magically work again?

Well, the door module is the little computer brain for that component - it controls all those things you mentioned are messing up.
I'd imagine you'd have to program a new one if you swap them out.
