No way. I had an 09 A6 Avant (3.0T) as my daily before my Cayenne Turbo S. I loved that car but unfortunately it got rear ended and totaled out. Taught me a lot about what I wanted in a daily driver.

Ah fair enough. defaulted to the C6 when you said 3.0T A6. Youre better off with the C7, 7 speed DSG is a huge step up from the torque converter 6 speed in the C6. Just sucks you couldnt get avants stateside.

  • I miss the driveability of the RS4 and sliding the car around as it was so predictable on a good set of snow tires and packed snow.
  • I miss the 8250 RPM rev limiter of the 4.2 L directed injected V8 paired with a 6 speed manual gearbox.
  • The CTT is much more comfortable, but is a heavy tank.
  • The Pirelli Scorpion winter tires combined with the PDCC and PTV on the Cayenne Turbo does a pretty good job.
  • The CTT will tow my trailer and track car no problem which is one the primary reasons for the purchase.

Funny, I too was a prior Audi S4 Avant/RS4/RS6/TT Convertible owner along with 3 VW Touareg TDI’s. I just bought a ‘19 Audi A6 3.0 for my GF, absolutely an amazing car! Very refined and very advanced. Enjoy and Good Luck with your CTT.

I was going to sell the RS4 when I picked up the GT3. Couldn't do it. Then again when I purchased the Cayenne Turbo, again, couldn't do it. It's stuck with me till someone makes me an offer I can't refuse. I'm the original owner and it's just been sitting in my garage all this time.

You have any affiliation with McKenna Porsche?

I think it's both price and options as they aren't mutually exclusive. For me all I need is PDCC, PTV and Burmester. That's it!

The nice thing about the Turbo S is that it comes standard with PDCC, PTV and Sport Chrono. Luckily mine does also have Burmester, which was a must for me. Wasn't really trying to flex, OPs car is super nice, I just havent found a single Cayenne with a higher sticker price than my own, but I'd sure like to see it if it exists haha.

Also no affiliation to McKenna Porsche, never even hear of it lol

Another B5 S4 owner in here (fully built/600whp), nice to see there are some of you that had or have one as well. To the OP, beautiful CTT. That's a wild option list!

Small world. I know Melissa. I first met her when she was ordering the cars at Porsche for executive cars and employee lease cars as well as really high end special vehicles. She is a great person.

Same username here as Audizine. Running SRM K24s, rods, RS4 cams, ported heads, E85, methanol injection, etc. Love seeing B5 people on here.

I'm actually on here as I'm looking to get into a 2014+ CTT or 2016+ Cayenne GTS to replace my current daily. How is the CTT so far? Did you test drive the newer GTS as well by chance?

Honestly didnt test drive anything. Decided I want a cayenne turbo and when i found mine i was sold. Bought it sight unseen from a Porsche dealer in Ohio. I love mine so far, have changed some little stuff here and there but i have zero complaints so far
