Default 2014 Cayenne GTS 38k miles - should I purchase an aftermarket warranty?

Hi Guys - I'm about to take delivery on a 2014 Cayenne GTS with only 38k miles. Was wondering if I should purchase an aftermarket warranty. I've gotten a few quotes:

Shift (Platinum Coverage)
$3800- 2 years 24,000
$4800- 3 years 36,000
$5800- 4 years 48,000

Quote from Porsche Irvine (Redshield Premium)
$4998 - 4 years, 48,000

Quote from Walters Riverside (Fidelity Platinum)
6 yr 60k miles - 7362.00
5yr 50k miles- 7035.00
4 yr 48k miles-6165.00
3yr 36k miles- 5146.00

Reading through all the 958 forums, seems like the GTS is pretty solid (V8 NA) besides the transfer case and coolant pipe glue issue. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

Depends on what those warranties cover. Make sure they cover most electronics as well as drivetrain.

The gts is solid. And you’ll love it!

Fideltiy platinum for 3 years or go naked. My guess is that you will break even either way. 14 is a pretty sorted out year to purchase!
