I had an independent Porsche shop do a quick look, and they weren't able to find anything overtly wrong. I was also with them when we had the car up on the lift, and can verify that everything looked to be in order from a hose and wiring perspective.

And regarding warranty, I'm at 80k miles, so I would not expect this to be covered.

I did indeed. Landed a pretty fantastic deal. Curious how much you know about the car?

I don't know much of anything - we just bought a 2016 GTS a couple weeks ago and I would look every day and remember that car because it was most of the spec we were looking for also. About the time I was thinking about contacting the guy, its twin was listed in Knoxville which is only a few hours away from me. Only difference is ours has the two tone garnet and black interior and if I remember correctly that one was all black, right? And I think your car even has the platinum/satin wheels too right?

Yep, our interior is all black. The wheels are "21" Turbo Design," not sure exactly what the color is designated as. They are on the lighter side.

Yep thats a nice ride! Ours is also pretty flawless except one similar issue. Headlights are on always, regardless of ambient light. The headlight switch doesn't do anything, they stay on as long as the car is on. My wife of course, wants the "4 little lights" on, not the headlights lol.

I am 90% sure that a dealer/mech with PIWIS can fix this so that the headlights have normal "auto" behavior.

Have someone push the button while you watch the valve. Then with sport selected try and help the valve move. Might just need to be unstuck.

If this doesn't help follow the hose and see that it is properly connected at both ends.

Great idea. Is the valve on the muffler, before, or after?

Thanks to everyone for the help

It's right near the muffler. Close to the rear ended of the back wheels if I recall correctly. You'll see a thin rubber tube connecting to it. Can't miss it. Start the car and check for vacuum pressure with the button on normal and then on sport. You'll should feel vacuum only in one of the two modes.
