Question Front lower valance dislodged

Looks like my front lower valance is dislodged. Any suggestions on how to "pop" it back?

Have you tried giving it a good push?

Yeah, there maybe some kind of tabs behind - hard to tell. It would be helpful if someone posted a pic of how it looks on the other side.

The black valance does have tabs that fit through openings in the upper part. Once you align the two and give it a push, they should snap together. Here is a picture https://www.ebay.com/itm/232995085745?ul_noapp=true

Thanks for the image. Maybe there is something damaged or out of place. Do you know if this cover can be removed (and reattached) without taking the whole bumper off?

Te answer is "yes" according to AllDataDIY. However all they say on the subject that I found was to remove the front apron as the first step of the bumper removal process.

The front apron actually appears to refer to the top portion of the cover when the hood is open. The video I saw doing a bumper removal left the bottom cover in place so it's unclear if it can be removed w/o removing the bumper.

However I would guess that if you get a flashlight and look closely you'll see the tab and whether it's broken or not.
