Ceramic Coating
I have always used Zymol wax on my cars. Zymol has done a great job; although, when it's pollen season, the wax is gone when it rains. I am thinking about a ceramic coating or even a ceramic spray like Gtechniq C2v3 Liquid Crystal. The only thing that is causing me some pause on the Gtechniq is the people who tell me that once I put that on the paint, if my vehicle is ever damaged....bad scratch that needs paint, the paint shop will have to take that section down to the metal to get the coating off. I have no idea whether that's true or not. They would have to take the clear coat off anyway. Any downside to this spray? I would have to find a good detail shop in town who does the full ceramic process (prep paint, polish, etc) if I do that route, but I would like to know whether to spray the C2v3 Liquid Crystal or not?
