Do you mean the connector? If so it's the red connector behind the access panel in the right rear.
The CD in question has a non factory installed hitch and connector but the 12v pin is not active. So i want to locate a 12v source, put a fuse and connect it to the back of the 7 way connector.
I located the wire that comes off the 7 way connector from outside the car and then into the trunk. I did a continuity test from the 1 o clock pin on the vehicle which is the 12v and at the green connector. The two brown cables and the red cable have continuity to the 1 o click pin.... odd
The cable off the 7 way splits off to this green connector and another branch that goes off in to another area.

Oops. yeah, green connector. Does your aftermarket hitch have the control module installed? If not then I don't know if that 12v is active or not as it may need to be coded to enable it. If the green connector was plugged into where it's shown in the 1st pick then I'm guessing no control module as that's just a spot to hold the loose connectors so they don't flop around.
Other than that the fuse location should be in the owners manual.
Those pics are are from my personal Cayenne D with the factory installed hitch system and modules. The green connector does have cables it’s connected to and continue up into the car (not just a place holder... I was puzzled there for a sec)
The actual cayenne i am talking about is a friends who had the hitch installed at a hitch shop but they left the 12v disconnected.
Interesting indeed. When I did my aftermarket hitch install on my 2011 CS along with the control module mine was plugged into a dummy block that looked similar.
The best thing to do is to reference the TSB for the hitch install.
