Thanks, yes it is a great vehicle and I love driving it. I just put in 23.7 gallons of diesel yesterday after 605 miles, so I am happy with 25.5 mpg. A lot of 0-60 runs in there too as I was testing my RC tune. Preparing my S4 for my Dad to pickup in 3 weeks as it will be moving to NY state. I am giving it to him to enjoy as it is still in great shape and will be nice for upstate NY winters. I will miss it but the CD is just as awesome and will fill its shoes well. Rick.

Default Bully Bumper

Oh ya, I installed my LED bully bumper for added protection and like it a lot. I have a message now to check left trailer signal and am hoping to clear it somehow. If anyone knows how to clear it I would be greatful but I am investigating further. The LED’s illuminate with the brakes on or flash with a turn signal, so I am happy with it. Rick.

Something like this - http://a.co/1LhPdK8 - note the "LED Lamp Out By-Pass for European Vehicles" feature - from what I see here, that's what you need.

Well, I already installed the Hopkins universal that you had recommended and it works fine minus the check bulb messsage. My Carista app does not give me many options on resetting service indicator or different options like it does for my Audi S4. What app is more Porsche “friendly” to use with my OBD2 dongle. Thanks! Rick.

Default Transferred my plate.

Finally got the paperwork from GA to register the CD. Glad that is done, and still love the CD. Looks like this tank of diesel will get me over 700 miles which is awesome, will post numbers on fill up. Ran it up to 92mph on I-95 this morning and hardly knew it, so smooth!

Hmmm.. You could try adding a resistor into the wiring harness for the step/light, similar to what people have to do when putting LED turn signals in place of incandescent's, and while it won't hurt anything, it may or may not fix it.

The problem is that the car isn't seeing enough of a current draw from (what it thinks) is the left brake/turn signal bulb in that bully bumper - when you hit the brakes, it monitors both right and left outputs in the trailer wiring and expects to see a similar draw. The bully bumper has just a few LED's so it's probably not an even draw - this might be a tough nut to crack.

iCarSoft is one app that has options for resetting service indicators and the like. It's not super user friendly, but it works.

Default 29 mpg

Nice range.

29 mpg
So I topped off today and was happy to get a 29 mpg average. Got some diesel at a WaWa station right by KPBI airport at lunch, $3.09 a gallon. Just went over 43K miles on the way back from Ft. Lauderdale airport picking up my uncle. Was nice to be in the CD in bumper to bumper traffic, heavy rain, etc.

Loving the CD, and is great to drive of course. As I rolled into work yesterday the mpg’s were over 40, which is not what I actually got, but it was cool to see. My Dad took my S4 and is loving it too, he loves the power. He got the N.Y. state inspection yesterday and they had to scrape off all the tint as it was too dark. Oh well, will be better for his night driving.

The MPG's are amazing.
Easy to get in the 30's.
However, I have never see the 40's!
I guess our CD has to be 'Broken In' little more.

Ya, I am not really getting 40, lol. I topped off a few days ago and got 28.8 mpg in reality. This was great as I did two runs to FLL to pickup my uncle and then my Dad a few weeks ago. We rolled over 80 mph coming back on the I-95 when able. These things are not fast of course, but the torque is awesome! It definitely is filling the shoes of my Audi S4 that my Dad is loving now in upstate NY.

Just went over 44K miles and love that CD. So comfortable, pulls hard, rides great. I am thinking of using a diesel additive but still researching data.

Low fuel light went on at 650 miles, so I hit a local diesel station and topped off. Only 28.1 mpg average, but I have been having fun with it. I picked up a cabinet that is 75 inches long and I just got it to fit. Love the room and the comfort. Diesel is $3.02 a gallon right now in south Florida.
