It is starting to be a pain in the ***, thermostat changed, problem not solved. No coolant loss however, level stays the same. My gauge temp is fluctuating between 81-90C. I am thinking a sensor is sending false information to ecu. I'l keep you guys up to date.

Nope, I think it is somehow normal. Maybe the diesel gate software... who knows, The temperature hoovering seems to appear only when outside are +15C, if it drops down even with -0.5, it gets up to 90 and stays there.

Oh really, that kind of makes sence, mine is the same after 15c outside temp. Have you had any malfunctions since? And have you had anyone like porsche to confirm there is no fault?

Has anyone figured out the problem?

i've been getting coolant display defective, temps running cold until the car is restarted,

changed thermostat housing, 2 units of thermostat, and thermostat sensor but still getting the same issue,

coolant level is topped up to max
