It's even easier if you can tip the Cayenne forward a little bit (either raise the back end, or park it nose down on a sloped driveway).

every winter i put snow tires on my cayenne - still found it a struggle to align the (72 lbs. ) wheel and tire onto the stud. last year i found it easier not using it. just hang the wheel on the small "ledge " of the hub and rotate until the hole is lined up.

Another forum member recommended these.

Not inexpensive, but neither was the cordless impact wrench or aluminum racing floor jack... (I don't use *that* one for the Cayenne!)

I found a couple of similar tools on Amazon, but they aren't quite as well thought out, and some seem like they're meant for *large* truck tires.

With shipping, it looks like the cost is around $200. I'll inquire about RL discounts.

Just received my refund on that oil change kit from FCPEuro. Only cost me $15 to ship the old oil back to them via UPS. Don't think you can get cheaper than that on a yearly maintenance. Looking to do the brakes in the winter time. I thought I was going to do the pads only but might as well just get fresh new rotors with this crazy deal.

New drive belt. Original belt looks fine. I'll hold on to it for a while. Fairly simple on the V6, drove a M8 screw into the tensioner to relief tension. Had to remove the splash guard and crawl underneath because it was really hard to get the belt around the crank pulley from above due to the oil pan being in the way.

Drove it 956 miles, from Atlanta to my hometown in northwest Missouri, these are wonderful long distance machines!

Front Brake Job. Pads and Rotors. Used the special tool to support the caliper.

I use this to move the tires around the garage. It is from Northern Tool:

I'm thinking about using four of them when mounting and dismounting.

Started on the brake job. Sebro slotted rotors with Textar pads. Bought the special tool T10439 to hang the calipers.

Original pads were Akebono. Not sure who makes the rotors.

Front passenger side. Something had been digging into the rotor and pad.

I've got oil rotors, pads and TC fluids from FCP as well. Plan is to change TC with every oil change to keep it happy. Nice to know it only cost you $15 to ship that oil back. You're in NJ, right?

On the rotors/pads/sensors I was thinking of getting new ones too. Mine started squealing for some reason. I can't imagine the shipping cost for these crazy heavy rotors though. Might just give them to a buddy to drop them off at FCP, glad they're on the east coast.
