I sold 'em and had to pick up another set. Not wanting to spend a fortune on a set of wheels, I opted for these and they've been rock solid for the last 6 years. They've handled the weight of the cayenne with no problem still rune true and balance out perfectly. I had some custom made Porsche emblems made for them but one cracked so I had to install the original Vorestiner Center caps. I'll be replacing them as soon as I can find the correct size as these Vorestiners are not the same size as any of my Porsche centers.
I see you’ve got 295s, are they 21x11?

I dried out my spare wheel well pool that had formed and unclogged the rear drains.

PSA if you have a moonroof CHECK THE REAR DRAINS. It only takes 10 minutes and needs no other tool than a screwdriver. Good video here:

It will potentially save you a lot of money on replacing expensive electronics or a lots of time drying out your car when it's already freezing out.

Winter tire changeover and alignment, for both the CS and the Q7.

[edit] Just ordered a set of new tire totes. These will go on the daughter's Q5 wheels, and I also ordered a set of Audi wheel totes for the, um, Audi.

I'm in need of a passenger side static turning bulb. Do you have a lead on sourcing one?

Pretty sure it's an H7 size. Any auto store has it

Several local Autozone stores had them in stock.

Pro tip: replace both sides while you're at it. Might as well upgrade.

I upgraded to LEDs last time around. Any H7 without a fan/heatsink will work, but
these these
were the highest-rated on Amazon. Have been very satisfied with the increased output.

Hope they won't melt your headlight. LED run real hot

Not too concerned about the cornering light. The longest it's on is 5-6 seconds. I'm planning to use a fan-equipped LED for the high beams, though. A few other members have had success with this setup as well.

Installed these center console handle cubbies... they are plastic and coated / sprayed with a black felt-like material. Fit great, very useful.

Amazon Amazon

What I've found is that when you park the car with the wheel turned and don't shut the ignition off, the cornering lights stay on. Lets say if you are waiting for a passenger in a hotel circular driveway.

My led cornering lights will actually shut off if they are getting hot, so I get the cornering light fail in the above scenario. Goes away once the steering wheel is straight and doesn't come back unless you have the same scenario again.

Interesting. I'll watch out for that. I have not had any issues at all with mine.

The ones I ordered are typically used as low beams and have a ton of positive reviews on Amazon, so it would surprise me if they have major issues with heat in such a limited capacity. I wouldn't use them myself for lows, but I haven't seen anyone complain about failures or bad longevity.

Have you swapped out any other bulbs, @Quadcammer? I upgraded my low beams to a better D1S but I think the 35W ballast is what's holding back most of the performance.

I put newer bulbs in for the low beams, fanciest osram or sylvania ds1s or whatever. I tried putting leds in the highbeams, but my alarm would go off as soon as i tried to lock it, so those came back out.

I got the same thing done last week! Someone on here recommended this for low beam and other bulb for high but I did high, low and corner beam with this same bulb/color instead.
