Hello All,
Has anyone been able to replace the battery on a 958 P!G? Mine is 2011 CTT.
In the manual it tells me it’s under the “left front seat” and basically says not to attempt yourself and don’t buy any batteries except Porsche branded batteries.
I’ve read past threads and watched some YouTube videos, but the all of them are on 2006-2010 Cayennes. I tried moving the seat back and forward and it’s not apparent to me where I should be pulling the carpet up. It almost looks like some of the carpet is the same piece that is under the pedals.
Also, does anyone know specifically to the 958 as to what group size the battery should be?
I’ve read it’s the H8, but other threads have suggested the H9 (I guess the H8 is 13-13.5” and the H9 is 15-15.5”).
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Allanon

I just replaced mine on my 2014 GTS and my indy did it for me after the dealer wanted $900. Used Bosch (who does P car batteries) and paid $600 instead installed - I think book time is 2 hours labor with install and registration.

I replaced the starter battery on my 2016 Cayenne S eHybrid with the Braille i48cx so that I could take advantage of the majority of the weight savings found in the 2019 cayennes.
