Default cayenne steering noise/squeak

Hi guys,

its exactly the same as in the vid below.

do you have any idea what is causing this noise?

This noise sounds like a failing coiled airbag spring behind the steering wheel. The spring houses the airbag wiring loom and resembles a typical coiled extension unit in your garage.

There's also a steering joint knuckle inside the dash which connects to the steering rod exiting the firewall. I've seen a lot of aftermarket wires wrapped around this joint causing shorts and similar noises.
