Audio System Screen Fail
I have a 2006 Cayenne Titanium Edition, with the Bose/ Navigation Sound System.
Yesterday the Audio/ Nav System's screen and graphics went to a series of multi-colored horizontal lines that continuously change color and positions. Infrequently the legible graphics would return but eventually then back to the lines. The audio, and change of mode features work fine (but of course I can't actually see what's displayed) anymore.
What has happened here? Must I replace the entire in dash unit? Or is the screen replaceable?
I hope I'm not looking at big dollars......

I haven't opened mine up, but it sounds like the ribbon cable to the lcd is going bad. My lcd is losing lines of pixels. Eventually, I'll just swap it out for another. They can be had for <$200 from a junker.

Had mine serviced at Beckerautosound.com they were fast and fair$ They're local for me so I was able to drive mine over and wait while they serviced it. If you have to ship yours I'm sure they'll be just as efficient.
